Our Director
James S. Little is in his 12th year as Musical Director of the Choral Art Society of New Jersey, and has been the organist and choirmaster of Calvary Episcopal Church of Summit for over fourteen years having previously held a similar position at Mountainside’s Community Presbyterian Church for twenty-four years. Mr. Little received his Undergraduate Degree in Music Education from Trenton State College, and a Master in Sacred Music at Westminster Choir College, where he majored in Organ and a minor in Conducting.

Accompanist

We are fortunate to enjoy Mary Beth McFall ... our glue ... who has serves as our excellent professional accompanist, keeping us singing together for the past ten years.

Rehearsals

Held from 8:00 to 10:00 PM each Tuesday in the choir rehearsal hall at The Presbyterian Church in Westfield, 140 Mountain Avenue, corner of East Broad Street in Westfield. New singers are welcome, as we learn choral music nine months each year, with auditions and voice lessons given each Tuesday by Jim Little.

Messiah Sing
The public is invited to participate in our Messiah Sing, at 8:00 PM, Friday, December 3, 2010 and the first Friday in December every year in the First United Methodist Church at One East Broad Street in Westfield. Come sing Handel's Messiah, or join us to listen; all are welcomed. Singers should bring a copy of the score, but copies are available at the door where a $10 donation is gratefully accepted.
